Next course available for booking
We are running our next sausage-making course on
September 15th. This
will be hands on, making a batch of sausages using our
pork. It will cover basic butchery skills, information
about all the ingredients and techniques used in sausage
making, and finish off with tastings of what we've made. The day will also include a lunch made from our home produce.
£90/person. There are a maximum of 6 people on each course, so it can be adapted to what each individual wants to know, whether it be talking about pig husbandry, making a salami, or making a particular type of sausage. Get in touch to book your place.
Mike Ashton is running a charcoal, spinning, and green woodworking course on September 22nd. He will spend the day demonstrating his knowledge of these country crafts, and getting you to try your hand at them too. Olivia will provide lunch.
If you want to stay overnight in our cottage, tipi, or
yurt, there will be a £10 discount/night if you are doing a
course. |
